Will the shade lose its shape?
No. The rounded form comes from the frame underneath, so the fabric is held rather than hanging. Kept dry it stays exactly as it looked new.
Where does it suit best?
Bedrooms above all, and dining rooms or hallways where you want something gentle overhead. It is particularly good in a room with a lot of hard flooring.
How much light does it give?
A broad soft spread. Fabric diffuses in every direction, so the light feels wrapped around the room rather than pointed at one spot.
How high should it hang?
About thirty inches above a dining table, or well clear of head height elsewhere. The rounded form looks best when seen slightly from below.
How do I clean it?
Vacuum on the lowest setting with a soft brush head once or twice a year. Do not wet the fabric.
