Which configuration should I choose?

Can I mix the two shapes in one cluster?

Does a fabric globe glare?
No. Fabric diffuses the source right around the sphere, so what you see is an evenly lit ball rather than a bulb through glass.
How do I clean the globes?
Vacuum on the lowest setting with a soft brush head, once or twice a year. Keep the fabric dry.
