How much wall does it need?
Enough clear space either side for the fan to read as a full shape. Treat it like hanging art. Centred on an empty wall it does far more work than a conventional sconce.
Can I pair it with the Laurel chandelier?
That is exactly what it is for. Same branch pattern, same brass, different scale. A chandelier over the table with these on the flanking walls looks completely deliberate.
Is it heavy to mount?
It mounts to a standard wall box with the included fixings. The arms are solid brass but the weight sits close to the backplate, so it is a routine installation.
How much light does it actually give?
Warm, atmospheric light across a wall. As a feature and as evening light it is excellent. For task lighting, layer it with something overhead.
How do I clean between the arms?
A soft dry brush or cloth run along each arm once or twice a year. No polish, no damp cloth, and the sealed brass holds its tone.
