Frequently Asked Questions
Does the whole disc light up?
It does. The bulb sits behind the face and the stone carries the light out to the edges, so you get one even glowing circle rather than a bright middle with dark rims.
Will the veining match if I buy two?
They will be close in tone but never identical, because the stone is natural. Mounted as a pair that difference is what makes them look like real material rather than moulded plastic.
Where does it work best?
Beside a mirror, either side of a bed, or spaced along a hallway. The flat face sits close to the wall, so it reads almost like a lit panel in a corridor where depth matters.
What bulb should I fit?
A warm white dimmable bulb. Cool bulbs flatten the stone and take the warmth out of the veining, while a warm one brings the pattern forward and makes the whole disc look alive.
How should I clean it?
Dry soft cloth across the face and around the arm. Alabaster does not like moisture or sprays, so keep both away and the surface stays clear and even.
