Will it suit a lower ceiling?
Yes, because it spreads sideways rather than dropping deep. The fitting can be shortened at installation, so an eight foot ceiling over a dining table is well within its range.
How do I clean the orb?
A dry soft cloth around the surface, no sprays and no moisture. Alabaster keeps its colour indefinitely as long as nothing wet goes near it.
