Frequently Asked Questions
How does it differ from Calabash?
Only in colour. Melon is beige, Calabash is white, and the ribbed shape is the same. Choose beige to warm a cool room and white to brighten a dark one.
Does beige read as yellow when lit?
It reads golden rather than yellow, which is what makes an evening room feel comfortable. A warm white bulb keeps it in that range.
Where should I hang it?
Over a table, a kitchen island or in a bedroom. Around thirty inches above a table surface puts the ribbing at the right height to be seen.
Can I run several in a line?
Yes, and a run of three over an island looks well resolved. Match the drop lengths so the shades sit level with each other.
How do I clean it?
Vacuum on the lowest setting with a soft brush, running down the ribs. Keep it dry and it stays even in tone.
