What length table does it suit?
A six to ten seat table, or a standard kitchen island. Aim for a fixture around two thirds the table length and this covers most long tables in one go.
How high should it hang?
Thirty to thirty four inches above the surface. Because it is shallow, that height clears sightlines along the table while keeping the glow low enough to feel intimate.
Is it one piece or several?
One continuous shade, which is exactly why it looks the way it does. A row of separate pendants gives you gaps. This gives you an unbroken band of light.
Does it need two mounting points?
It hangs from its own frame off a single ceiling point in most installations. Your electrician will confirm the fixing for your ceiling before mounting a span this long.
How is it cleaned?
A dry soft cloth run along the length once a year, top and bottom. Nothing wet on the stone. Dust on the upper surface is the only thing that dims it.
