Does the tiering block light?
No, light escapes between the tiers as well as through the fabric and out the base. The result is a broader spread than a single drum gives.
Where does it work best?
Over a dining table or a kitchen island, where you look up at it. In a bedroom it also works well as a softer ceiling fixture.
How high should it hang?
About thirty inches above a table so the tiers sit in view from a seated position, and thirty to thirty six above a worktop.
Do the tiers hold their shape?
Yes, each one has its own frame, so nothing sags with time. Keep it dry and it stays exactly as it looked new.
How do I clean between the tiers?
Vacuum on the lowest setting with a soft brush head, working around each tier. Do not wet the fabric.
