Frequently Asked Questions
How much light does this chandelier actually give?
Plenty for a dining room or bedroom. The multiple arms spread light across the whole space rather than pooling it in one place, and the alabaster keeps the output soft. Pair it with a dimmer and it will carry a room from bright dinner light down to a low evening glow.
What size room does it suit best?
It is sized for a standard dining room, bedroom or entryway with an eight to ten foot ceiling. Over a table, hang it so the lowest point sits roughly thirty inches above the surface. In an entry or stairwell, give it more drop so the wave arms are seen from below.
Is the alabaster real stone?
Yes. Each shade is cut from natural alabaster, which is why the veining differs from piece to piece. That stone is what gives the light its warmth. No printed or moulded shade diffuses the same way.
How difficult is the installation?
It mounts to a standard ceiling box with the included hardware and wires like any normal fixture. Most electricians have it up within an hour, and the chain or rod can be shortened on site to set your exact drop height.
How do I keep it looking new?
Dust the alabaster with a dry soft cloth and wipe the brass with the same, nothing wet and nothing abrasive. The finish is sealed, so it holds its colour instead of tarnishing into a patchy look.
